Piketon was up 17 in the 4th. They’ll be better than expected, but Western put very little pressure on them until the last 6 minutes. It was strange

Western also had only made 6 field goals until the final 6 minutes of the game too, but there weren’t many good looks, so credit to the Redstreaks there too.

They have some athletes there, they play Warren @ The Clash tomorrow night so we'll see.

Watched Gallia Academy and Meigs last night. I'm not sure if Gallia is just that good but I think Meigs has a decent ball club. Seemed more competitive to me than then final score would indicate. Anyone else with insights into these two teams?

Western couldn’t get the ball into their big boy. If they could have would have been a different ball game.
Both piketon & western need point guards.

Gallia should be that good. They are senior heavy. Plus have a 6'8" 300lb unstoppable senior in the paint. They have quick guards that last night could shoot the ball very well from the outside. Plus the addition of river valleys leading scorer Lambert. On paper they have everything they need to be a great team.

Meigs is very inexperienced at the varsity level.
2 starters w/experience are out due to injury.
They only have 2 other players with varsity experience.
Playing 4 sophomores.
They just couldn't get anything to fall in the second half.
I see them getting better later on in the season and once they gel and figure out an offense that works for them.
