Just curious... Has anyone heard anything on who the next coach will be? I haven't seen anything in the media.

I know PDT just put an article out about his departure on May 5th, but he was hired by FMU clear back in March. With summer quickly approaching I figured they would at least have some potential candidates by now.

There are been interviews from my understanding. Delano leaving is a pretty big blow to SSU, great coach and person. I’m not sure there’s a huge hurry though, Jeff Hamilton (AD) will probably just take over all activities until they find the right guy.

Just saw they announced Mike Hunter as the new head coach. Former assistant under Delano.

I believe Mike Hunter left to be a HC down south and actually led whatever school he was at to 2 conference titles maybe? I think I read that anyways. Other than him being a former SSU assistant I don’t know much about him.
