Between the SVC, MSL, FAC, SOC and SHAC, exactly two schools have incorrect records on maxpreps.EasternDspy wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 10:54 pm Just funny Maxpreps still don’t have most teams records correct. Using Maxpreps for anything is a terrible idea.
Well I know Fort Frye record is wrong and that’s 2 to many if you’re using AI to rank these teams.danicalifornia wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 11:10 pmBetween the SVC, MSL, FAC, SOC and SHAC, exactly two schools have incorrect records on maxpreps.EasternDspy wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 10:54 pm Just funny Maxpreps still don’t have most teams records correct. Not exactly sure how Maxpreps rankings are calculated. But the official RPI rankings will be different because they are set by the OHSAA and the coaches association and Maxpreps is just the one who is going to calculate them. Essentially Maxpreps is just doing the calculations based on the formula they are given rather than their own ranking system.Bucketz wrote: Thu Jan 04, 2024 9:19 am So the current rankings that Maxpreps is using will be different come mid January? Then why isn't maxpreps using the correct formula at this time?
Fort Frye’s entire schedule is wrong, so it’s not like someone can easily report the scores. Now, that’s on the coach (or whoever they have do it) to fix and takes roughly 5 minutes.EasternDspy wrote: Thu Jan 04, 2024 11:43 amWell I know Fort Frye record is wrong and that’s 2 to many if you’re using AI to rank these teams.danicalifornia wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 11:10 pmBetween the SVC, MSL, FAC, SOC and SHAC, exactly two schools have incorrect records on maxpreps.EasternDspy wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 10:54 pm Just funny Maxpreps still don’t have most teams records correct. Anyone can report scores on Maxpreps. This is a terrible idea. Why not just have a computer ranking like football?danicalifornia wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 11:10 pmBetween the SVC, MSL, FAC, SOC and SHAC, exactly two schools have incorrect records on maxpreps.EasternDspy wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2024 10:54 pm Just funny Maxpreps still don’t have most teams records correct. Why can’t they come up with their own system. You can’t convince anyone in here that Maxpreps isn’t garbage.danicalifornia wrote: Fri Jan 05, 2024 12:30 pmIt is a computer ranking.EasternDspy wrote: Fri Jan 05, 2024 8:43 amAnyone can report scores on Maxpreps.
