Late tip off for this game. It looks like the previous two matchups between these two teams were close. From the games I've seen Valley play this year, they are only using 6 guys, which I believe is because they have 2 players out for the year. Hopefully they can stay out of foul trouble and their legs can stay fresh throughout the game. Only thing I've heard about West is they play a 1-3-1 the entire game defensively and that they are scrappy.

Hopefully these young Indians can pull out a win and head to the Convo.

We would have been at the Convo during Coach McClanahans first year if it wasn’t for the covid thing happening. Beat Ironton in the Sectional Final that year but had to go Wheelersburg to play them for the district semi

I don’t know what side the live stream was showing, but I thought the Valley crowd was pretty solid for an 830 game. Jackson is a big gymnasium The student section was active and excited, but West did not travel well at all. No student section, and very little fan activity.

Congrats to Valley and coach Tackett on the win. I’m glad those kids get to experience the Convo. That was something I always wished I got to do back in the day.
