Yes they lost to Fairbanks.

Lost to a team that they were far superior to, just fell apart in the fourth quarter with a double digit lead.

Monroe Central played in the Battle in the 614 at Ohio Dominican University Martin Luther King weekend . The team that beat them lose to won their conference and lost only one regular season game. Fairbanks was defeated in the Central District Finals by Columbus Academy who is also undefeated. Numerous teams from this event and the other Battle Series event as still playing in March on the tournament trail.

excellent scheduling move. I went to that game, MC blew a 13 point 4th qtr lead, lost on a 3 at the buzzer by 2. That fairbanks team was no joke, they beat harvest prep by 20 in the district semi finals
