Rodney Barnett the voice of South Webster basketball passed away earlier today a huge loss for the community of South Webster

A huge loss is an under statement. That man loved his school and his school loved him back! He can be replaced but only by several individuals. There will never be another Rodney!

I am actually related to Rodney my dad was his cousin

RIP Rodney Barnett.

Can’t quantify this loss to the South Webster community and schools. Mr. Barnett’s voice and presence has been associated with South Webster basketball for years, and he also played a huge part in the South Webster Athletic Boosters.

Hope to see his name honored permanently in the gym with a banner or some type of memorial. Prayers up to his family and friends.*

RIP Rodney a huge influence on the SW community he had a great impact on so many. The Jeeps will always remember him we love you Rodney. Prayers to the family

Mr. Barnett was a true goat. Second only to Sweet Lou on the mic. 50 years of service to the school and community. Build the statue
