Hey, us TVC'ers gotta stick together! That may or may not be a pun towards the 1986 Warren Warriors :)

In that Vinton Co game at the CONVO, the Warriors Michael Hall exploded for 11 3rd quarter points and that sealed the deal with the Vikings playing catchup the 4th quarter. Proving my point about the NUKES!! Always ready to go off and in a small stretch can change a games out come. If you'll remember Athens blew a lead in both District games but neither Chilly or Miami Trace had the firepower to complete the upset. Cream rises to the top. Patton/Unioto, Hall/Vinton and French/Athens. All three games the opponents did an out standing job a slowing down 2 of the 3 but like a pressure cooking blowing its top, when the pressure came to bear the Warriors stood tall as REGIONAL CHAMPIONS

GO BIG BAD BLUE!

French/Athens

I still have yet to watch the tape (don't want to torture myself) ... but I'm pretty sure Evan had his eyes closed on a few of those long three's ... lol

Your were experiencing a nuclear explosion and its aftermath. Didn't you know that once that chain reaction begins their is no stopping it. Cruise Missles are totally useless in a all out nuclear destruction

Love to watch it with ya. I can arrange a viewing lol

Unioto's floor is about finished and it looks amazing. Hosting some very good teams in scrimmage season will break in the new floor, including WarriorBlue's Warriors, Minford, and Logan Elm. Now if we could just skip the fall seasons...

Yea that Tri scrimmage with Warren/Unioto/Minford should be interesting. All 3 teams will be good and competition that day will be fierce.

... interesting ... Minford is testing the troops early in the scrimmage season prior to the regular season tip off - Warren, Unioto as well as traveling to Nelsonville York to take on Coach Kline's Buckeyes in a tri scrimmage that includes my Logan Chieftains ... great stuff to be hearing from the roundball information network here on SEOPs ...

Unioto's scrimmage schedule is by far their toughest yet.
At Canal Winchester, At Athens, Foundation Game with Vinton County
The previously mention Minford/Warren, Portsmouth/Logan Elm

Those tough tests will have them ready for their opening weekend with Madison Plains and Valley.

with how Valley looked Friday night, they should make a nice run in the football playoffs, getting them a step behind in the early matchups for hoops

I'm about 90% sure that the game will be in Lucasville. Unioto hosted last year, so I'm pretty sure Valley will this year.

Even if they make a deep run, Valley will still be a monster anytime they step on the court this year.

Since Warren dropped to DIV in football ... why didn't they drop to DIII in hoops ... kind of weird to have a DIV football team - but a DII basketball team ... not sure I have ever seen that before.

Bishop Hartley had been that way for a while up until this year (D IV by the six division standards).

... daniC , the Classic STILL looks like a great way to kickoff the hoops season to me ... Logan Elm & Zane Trace from the PreSeason Elite 8 ranking with Vinton County, Eastern Brown, Piketon, Washington CH from the TreeHugger list and Huntington, Alexander, Westfall all needing to impress the committee of one - me - to make a statement for being higher on the listing (off of the End Table) ... it really isn't that far away ... I know coaches are holding "individual" workouts with players not participating in a Fall sport, reality is that players are on the hardwood already getting prepped for TEAM practices down the road ...

...got a great "packet" in the mail from Coach Duckworth who is starting his taking over the varsity head coaching position at Marietta HS ... coach outlined the players, team strengths/weaknesses for the 2013-14 Tigers - thanks Coach Duckworth the info was awesome especially for a "napkin stats" guy as myself LOL ... the Pfloyd Tour WILL make its' way to Tiger Town this season for sure coach, as always I look forward to seeing you and the Tiger team you put on the floor ...

Oh great ... now we have coaches from down on the river padding Floyds pockets ... how long till we see the Tigers in the top 8, Floyd? lol

And did I see where Mrs. Floyd said you guys were buying a house??? Who is funding that? Is the I-Town mafia securing your loan? Coach Maddox forking over the cash on the down payment?

BTW ... each week at the end of the Friday Night Post Game Show on Power 105 - the host Rusty Martin makes a song dedication to close out the show ... last Friday it was DOGS OF WAR by Pink Floyd!!! You would have loved it ... lol
