What's unprecedented is that Jackson could defeat Logan Thursday night and be 21-0....but would STILL have to win at Warren Saturday to clinch the SEOAL title for themselves....if Logan were to upset Jackson they could be 20-1 and have to win at Warren for even a share.

Crazy....heck with that. 22-0

IF the Ironladies and Lady Bulldogs get to that point, you're on!

Agree. Two more wins to an OUTRIGHT league championship.

Part of what makes Jackson so good is their unselfish play. But with regard to the SEOAL title, I would prefer that they get VERY stingy.

Great game by the girls! 21-0

Career game by Whitney Wills going for a very efficient 22 points. Senior Kari Jenkins scored a quick 7 early on and finished with 9.

Congratulations girls.....at least SEOAL Co-Champs!

Congratulations Coach Walburn!

Now one question for the Jackson girls....do you want to be SEOAL Champions by yourself?.....or do you want to share it with Warren Local? Kari, Kacee and Whitney already know the answer, hopefully they emphasize the importance of Saturday.

Great win for the Ironladies. I've said it several times this season, but I'll say it again. Someone ALWAYS steps up for this team. Tonight it was Whitney Wills. She did an outstanding job of taking good shots and also getting to the free throw line.

As Ironman92 said, it's a great accomplishment to have clinched no worse than a share of the SEOAL championship, but there's still unfinished business. An outright SEOAL championship and a perfect season are on the line at Warren on Saturday night. Tough place to win, Warren's senior night, 4th game this week...the Ironladies MUST bring their "A" game if they want to come back to Jackson at 22-0. I think they will.

Really looking forward to what should be a great game on Saturday.

One final thought. Congrats to Kari Jenkins and Jackie Cyrus. Two great seniors that have represented their community very well. Good luck to them the rest of this season and in the future.

keyser....I saw that on the way out....but wasn't it 57-31 before the final Logan swish at the buzzer?

I could've sworn it was 57-31....and she made a 17-18 foot jumper.

Ironman92........Craig Dunn of The Logan Daily News and myself got it confirmed from the official.

It was ruled a made three-pointer so 57-34 is official final.

I agree it was ruled a 3.....but she was a full step in front of the line?....or am I just lost?

I thought she was in front of the arc as well...but oh well.

Congrats to Ironladies on at least share of SEOAL championship.

Nope....can't do it. I'm wrong all the time but I need video evidence to prove me wrong. You have to put it in the paper by the book but I'm not getting paid a penny and I'm saying it was 57-33.

I92, I was just on the "huddle" and there was a topic asking how good is Jackson and if you will be able to compete with West Holmes if you make it to the regionals. here are a couple quotes i thought would interest you:

"They are a good team but play a light schedule. Their league is bad with only warren local in it. This Saturday they play warren at warren so we will see. Their schedule has not prepared them for west Holmes. They were 18-2 last year and lost in first round."

"Fairfield Union plays a much better, tougher schedule and received the #2 seed, I think that game will be great."

obviously, these people have probably not seen Jackson play. i included the 2nd quote because as a Miami Trace fan i didn't know we already were out of the tourney and FU already won the district title.

I will be an Ironladies fan during the tourney and hope we (MT) can meet you in zanesville.

The entire misnomer of the superiority of the MSL is manufactured by the fact that they are close to that big city and we all know that big city game is just better. How did an 18-2 FU fair last year against MT?

Obviously any team can lose on a given night but if Jackson plays their best they will be a tough out. Good luck to the Jackson girls.

pol pot, MT handled FU pretty easily 35-19 in that matchup last year. this year i'm more worried about who we'll face in the district semi vs the marietta/warren winner if we get by an improving hillsboro, who i think will beat waverly.
