I wasn't exactly meaning someone on here was saying those things. I just know that they get on here and read the threads and then the other half will hear about it too. Your referring about the previous complaining on our team not playing as a team and it costing us some losses. I'm referring to placing blame on just one individual kid.

First of all, if your not in an Ironton uniform, actually contributing to the game play, or one of the young girls sitting in the bleachers not playing at all, then we don't want to hear you trash the girls that were on the court that actually played. It is hard to have a great game every game. Elswick had around 450 points this season alone. Any player in any sport will have off nights. No one schooled her. Both centers had 8 pts. and Elswick had one more rebound than her opponent. It was pretty even and both girls banged hard in the middle. Put the beers down and suit up next yr. and lets see what you can contribute with Elswick out of the way. Even the assistant principle from Ironton was saying actually the team was alot quicker without Nikki. Linn sit on the radio and talked trash about her and his kid doesn't even play. Everyone likes to run their mouth and lay blame if we don't win. I believe she was the leading scorer throughout the season with a 20 pt. game avg.. Nikki, hold your head high baby. Your play and game style speaks for itself. You had around 700 pts. in playing just a season and a half. Congradulations on your full 4 yr. ride. HUH! The whole team could've and should've played better. The game and the season is over. I commend each and every kid that keeps their grades up and puts that uniform on for our team or any team. It takes devotion and dedication. There has been quite a few people that have tried and tried to get this kid down on herself and she wouldn't break not through everything she has been through to play ball at Ironton and graduate from the school she loves. I apologize to the ones that have wasted all their time on trying to do so. Now onto softball where she excells as well.
I'm sorry, but this post is ridiculous. Nikki had a heck of a season. And I know Jeff Linn, and I highly doubt that he was trying to demean Nikki in any way whatsoever. Probably just doing his job as a play by play announcer and simply stating the facts. She had a VERY off game. And it's tough to overcome when that player took nearly half of the shots that game.

AGAIN...GREAT CAREER TO NIKKI AND GREAT SEASON!!! I know her personally and she should know that I would never have a bad thing to say about her.
