Final

Jackson 62
Minford 27

Minford came in at 5-1 but the Jackson Ironladies were completely on top of their game. The offense was perfectly balanced, shooting was great inside and out....scoring was something like 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 6, 5. Defense was excellent as Minford only had 3 FG in the 2nd half. The Ironladies were very fresh and all game long with a 9 player rotation and it paid off with great all-around shooting and great on the free throws as well.

Fun to watch....I'm not sure how much better they can play.

Definitely impressed by the Ironladies so far. As Ironman92 said, very balanced offensively, which is very difficult for opposing defenses. It seems like you can basically pencil in Ridout, Poe, and Jenkins for 12-15 points each, and they're getting plenty of help from the rest of the team as well.

Love Jackson's defensive intensity in the last couple games that I have seen. They're really making it difficult for teams to get good looks, and they're rebounding the ball very well too. Some tough tests coming up, so hopefully they'll continue to play well.

At Chilly, ready for tipoff

If things are similar to the JV game several fans will be tossed.

Jackson 86
Chillicothe 49

Ridout with 30

I can't remember Jackson ever scoring 86 points in a game. Ridout had 30 in about 20 minutes of play. Everyone played very well again. Seemed like every other started had around 10 and the first 4 off the bench had about 5-10 points. Great great game once again.

Not sure the last time a Jackson player went for 30....maybe Torii Leali about 8 years ago. Can only remember Beth Howe, Julie Coffey and Cindy Ridgeway getting 30 in a game....not sure any others in JHS history have done it.

Wow. Impressive performance by the Ironladies, especially Madison Ridout.

Looks like the "You're going down" comment really got them fired up.

They didn't need fired up...they were ready. I wish you would've been there to yell and heckle that guy to get back some for the giant guy who heckled you during football.

LOL. That was not a fun night. Obviously the result of the game already had me fuming, but that dude was definitely adding fuel to the fire. Glad the Ironladies exacted some form of revenge for me tonight.
