Eastern by a bunch. With Turley in the line-up for the eagles, this one may get ugly........

I think Eastern should win this one...Not just because Turley is in the line up it takes 5 girls to play the court not just one...The girls have worked hard so far this year...Very young team....I heard the game on the radio and the announcer said that it was not a selfish game being played....Good Luck To ALL the Lady Eagles....

Of course it takes five. Turley is a huge difference maker. Her presence makes the team better than what they were with out her. Connery, Rawson, Gillian, and all the others are an integral part of the team as well. Guess I have to spell that out so that no feels slighted........

Regardless, Eastern wins, by a bunch

Is Gillian playing? I didn't see her in the box score the other day. What was the score of the Wahama game.

Gillian twisted her ankle last week. She might be back tonite

Southern played great until the fourth quarter when Eastern's size became to much. Southern lead by 2 in the 1st and Eastern pulled ahead by 4 at the half. Southern was lead by the Dunn girl, she was dominate in the 1st half then got into foul trouble, and Southern couldn't recover. Turley didn't do anything she was held in check, Southern played well but just lost it a the end. I think Southern can pull off an upset at home!!!

I thought both teams played very well! There was some "extra stress" there as Eastern's Turley played at Southern before this year and Southern's freshman Thomas played at Eastern up to this year. I know almost all of the girls on the two teams are friends but this didn't interfere with the competitivness. I can remember Southern/Eastern games that were really ugly and people got hurt. I hope we are all past that!

Yes, alot of the girls on the 2 teams are friends, but no, Eastern did not play well. Was not a pretty win, but I guess a win is a win. Get it together before Saturday at Meigs or it will get very ugly very quickly.

OK, I rarely visit the girl's basketball forum, but when did Turley become and Eagle? I thought she was with Southern?
