McClain looks to have beaten a good Miami Trace squad to get here

Game is Thursday, 2/26 at 8 PM at Southeastern HS, winner will play in district finals at the convo on March 7.

McClain goes in with a record of 17-5. Finshed 2nd in the SCOL to Miami Trace, but won the season series 2-1 with yesterday's game.

Small team, who plays good defense and is unselfish. #25 Hammond is their best player, but they are pretty even skill wise 1-9.

Sounds like Warren will have to be clicking on all cylinders if they want to beat McClain.

McClain was 12-2, then lost 3 straight and has won 5 straight since.

I would say that they are about the same skill wise as Chillicothe, with less size, if that tells you anything.

Well then, that's good news for us, since we had a chance to beat Chili at Chili at the line w/ 5 seconds on the clock tied at 46 a piece. Missed the fts and eventually lost in OT. I do see the Lady Warriors play another game of high intensity def and most importantly, utilizing all of their weapons. Keep working hard girls, it is paying off!

I'll still stick with Unioto, who did defeat McClain last season without Ray, but I believe that it is much more open now then it was before.

Warren is'nt toast but they wont win either.As for Ray,sorry to hear that....

Kate Hammond dominates for the Lady Tigers.

Tough outing for the Lady Warriors, they were down by only 5 at the half.

First and only lead was in the first quarter.

Had a tough time rebounding offensively and just couldnt score at the end.

Season's over, but the team has worked hard all year, most certainly exceeded expectations, and the future looks bright. Congrats, Lady Warriors, and to the seniors for four long, hard years of awesome effort and pretty good results.

Great season girls, after all, you are Sectional Champs! Hold your heads high! Fought to the end that's all we could ask for. That is one of the better (in your face) defensive teams I've seen in a while. Good luck McClain Lady Tigers!
