Tri-Valley Conference Division Standings (Dec. 25th)

I went ahead and did this on the boys forum: This info will be updated almost every day once it is transfered to trivalleyconference.com ( as soon as godaddy.com is completed with the re-building of the league web site - which should be sometime shortly after New Years)

We can link it to this thread though - its no big deal - but for now, I will go ahead and attempt an accurate standings of both the Ohio and Hocking Divisions ... If there is a game or two I am missing, feel free to correct me - I would appreciate it actually.

TVC-OHIO

1. Alexander --(3-0 TVC-Ohio),(4-1 Overall)
2. Meigs Marauders.(3-0) , (4-2)
3. Athens Bulldogs. .(3-1) , (3-4)
4. Nelsonville-York. (1-2) , (2-5)
5. Vinton County. ..(1-3) , (1-6)
6. Belpre Eagles ---.(0-3) , (1-4)
7. Wellston Rockets (0-3) , (1-6)

TVC-HOCKING

1. Eastern Eagles. .(3-0) , (5-0)
2. Waterford. ... ..(3-0) , (4-1)
3. Federal Hocking .(2-1) , (4-4)

I think I am missing a non-league game between Federal Hocking & Fisher Catholic on December 23rd.

I have nearly ALL the scores except a couple ...

Meigs Vs South Gallia (Dec. 1st) had result; no score?

Eastern Vs Miller (Dec 17th) - No score

Nelsonville-York Versus Miller (Nov. 30th) - no score.

Miller Versus Muskingum Christian (Dec. 14th) - no score.

Southern @ Beaver Eastern (Nov. 28th) - no score

Southern versus Ohio Valley Christian (Dec 1st) - no score.

Southern @ Wahama Tourney (Dec. 18th) - no score.

Belpre @ Williamstown (Dec. 9th) - no score.

If everyone could help gather those - I can use the info for a "team scoring and team defense" category here in a few weeks on the web site.

THANKS

Troy,
Alex is 4-3 overall and 4-0 in the TVC-Ohio with wins over Wellston, Vinton, Nelsonville York, and Athens. Their non-conference losses were Logan Elm, Zane Trace, and Amanda Clearcreek.

Belpre lost to Williamstown. I'll get back to you on the score.
Also a correction to your list. Belpre beat NY in OT in Belpre 56-52. So Belpre is 1-2 in TVC Ohio.

One thru four TVC Hocking would beat one thru four TVC Ohio, hands down. Sorry, I may sound like Athens 78, and I'm not, but, honestly, that's the way I see it. No offense to A78 either!

I don't know about that... 2-6 Wellston team missed 23 ft's in the Fed Hock game and still had a chance to win the game in late in the 4th qt. Alexander and Meigs are very solid... Now Athens and Nelsonville? Prolly...

Coach - You have got to be kidding me. You were down by 13 points with 2:50 left in the fourth quarter. Coach Butcher sat his starters down and put in the freshman, your coach left your starters in the entire game. That is the reason that the final score was even remotely close. Oh, and those 23 free throws? Well, that is a reflection of the poor officiating at the game. That was second game in a row that Fed Hock saw that officiating crew, and it was just bad. We would have had them for a third game in a row, but the Fisher Catholic game was cancelled. Not sure I could have sat through another game with those three.

Fed Hock plays your Golden Rockets 10 times, they win 10 times, unless you have Farmer Yoder, Willie Cheatem, and Willie Screwem as the officiating crew. You throw Iris Butcher into the game, Fed wins that game in Wellston by 30 plus points........

I agree with the refs....I agree with Butcher playing that they would have won by 30 if not more.... As far as putting the freshmen in the game in the fourth qt thats all Wellston had in the game for the entire game... I believe it was a 9 point game at halftime also but however Fed Hock won the game and thats all that matters....
