Iris went to college early, to get ahead on academics, leaving home in July to take classes, was gone for five weeks, came home for a week, and then went back to Kent State to dive into fall classes and basketball. She's doing great. Really appreciate you asking about her. We are all looking forward to her having a very nice college career playing for the Golden Flashes. And she will be at the Convo at least once every season, for those who want to come watch a local girl do good!!!!

I too am wondering about Federal Hocking, I can't find a schedule or a head coach listed (including the OHSAA website). I heard that they might not have numbers for a team this year, any truth to this? I'd think with their recent successes that they should be able to field a varsity team.

To answer the original question the best that I can, it appears that a head coach has yet to be named?

Word is that a decision has been made, but I've not seen anything in writing declaring that the BOE's decision is final and the hire has been approved. Fed's BOE met on 9/21, but the updated meeting minutes are not online yet.

Heard that Bob Springer may take the job if they can't find a coach.

A source close to the Federal Hocking program has stated they have hired a girls coach. I couldn't tell you his name but was told it was someone outside of the Coaching tree.

A new coach has been hired from an outside county near New Philly. I don't know any more about him.

If you guys have a name, I might be able to provide some insight. New Philadelphia isn't but an hour from where I'm at in Zanesville.

Just heard they were down to 6 players and no JV. New coach hold practice for over 3 hours a night and the Cuckler girl quit.

I honestly believe that anyone and everyone on this sight, who has read your venom, knows, that you are one of the most insufferable jerk-offs within 300 miles of SE Ohio. I just really struggle reading the thoughts of someone who is so absolutely miserable with their own life, that they take it upon themselves to try and make so many people in Athens county miserable, by espousing such putrid, negative garbage about KIDS!!!!!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't think a soul that posts on here would ask that you continue to be allowed to try to bring others down to your level of being a miserable, wretched soul.
