I am curious. I know most AAU teams play from Spring to early Summer but are there any that play purely in the Summer months (June, July and August? My daughter is interested in playing AAU basketball but also likes playing Soccer. I was looking to see if there are any AAU teams she could try out for so that the sports wouldn't overlap. Basically she would be able to play Soccer in the Fall and Spring. Then play Basketball in the Winter and Summer. She is in Fourth grade presently.

Most tournys start in late March, GBAs start then and AAU tournys. But not all teams pay every weekend, usually GBAs are done by second week of June, For her Grade level it s usually over for AAU in jul with AAU Natls. A lot of team coaches will work with you, specially if your daughter s a old bball player.
