Eastern Pike (4) VS SW (5) is a tough 1st round matchup ... one of these good teams wont even advance one round . If you compare that on the athens side of the draw to the NW side of the draw where the 4-5 seed game is western and manchester . tried to get the brackets to copy paste but cant get it .

How does Clay with a 13-7 record get a 3 seed over Eastern with 17-3 record with a 4 seed. The two best teams will meet in the second round. That being ND and Eastern. That is if Eastern gets by the 3rd best team in this bracket SW.

actually they are in different sides of the draw .... meaning Clay was not in Eastern and SW's pool . The Athens group this year is tougher than the NW group . I compared 6 seeds ... Belphre at 13-6 and Ports East at 7-12 .

Athens sectional is always tougher, the Northwest sectional is basically a SOC 1 tourny, Eastern and SW should be in that sectional, either one would win it all. Webster every one forgets plays in a D3 conference, and only play two other d4 teams dying the season. Other than the Valley game have been in it at the end, and Jackson is a true stud team and nothing to be upset about losing too plus they are D2. So don't say how can Webster be a 5 seed in Athens and think that sectional s weak. Plus Eastern Reedsville is another real deal team

just to remind you Notre Dame has beaten Eastern twice and Valley at Valley.

Not knocking ND, but they barely bet Clay in OT, clay s without Widdowson, they squeezed by Eastern the second game right? West beat ND by 20+, west beat SW by 7, Webster was winning till Hall got her eye swollen as I remember..but it doesn't matter, strength of schedule means nothing in high school seeding, lol..specially when teams get sent out of area with really know like opponents. Oh well you got to it get it done on the floor. U can be 500 all season and make a run and it is all forgotten, you can be 20-0, Lose first or second game and in reality your season is remembered for that loss...good luck to our local teams and thank heaven Jackson is D2, lol

ND beat clay by 10 and by 1.... Eastern beat clay by 1 and then a larger margin not sure of exact score....ND beat eastern by 5 and 16 and last time ND played eastern they were up by 30 heading into 4th quarter.... All conference games and theose three usually play each other tough.... That being said webster is probably the best of the 4 playing in the biggest conference all year.... 2thehoop , Yeah , you are knocking ND . But thats Ok , to be clear ND also beat Clay by ten with Widdowson . And you already got corrected on the second time ND played Eastern . I totally agree with rest of your post , memories are made at tourney time . records mean nothing at tourney time .
