I have confirmed all teams entered in this shootout. Please note the rules and regulations of game play below. Matchups and game times are listed below as well as on http://www.gtown.k12.oh.us. Coaches will need to sign-in prior to their first scheduled game. The $100 fee per team must be paid at that time. I have secured OHSAA licensed referees for this shootout.

Please remember, this is a shootout and many of us are trying to integrate new players or work on concepts that will be the focus of game strategies for the season. Parents are to cheer for their players in a positive way, coaches are to coach their players and referees will administer the rules of the game.

Concessions will be provided in each of the buildings.

Shootout Rules and Regulations:
- (3) minute warm-up
- Two (15) minute halves with a running clock to (1) minute
- Shooting fouls are (1) point + (1) free throw
- Team fouls will be kept for bonus. Double bonus will be (1) point + (1) free throw
- (2) minutes between halves
- (1) full time out for each half

Final updates were completed last night, schedule is locked in and ready to go. Looking forward to watching some good basketball this weekend.

Just a follow up to post above, I did not watch any of the 7th grade games but can give you the following scores roughly....

Fairfield City over West Union by 6-7
Georgetown 41, North Adams 17
Georgetown 28, Fairfield City 22
West Union 26, Georgetown 20

8th Grade games were pretty competitive and I was really impressed with the level of play in this area. Mostly impressed with West Union as they were missing (2) of their best players and played with only (5) girls. Georgetown played with (6) after moving (2) 7th graders up just to have a team. Manchester, North Adams and Fairfield City Schools all had great attendance.
