Just a guess. I know Waterford is better at home, just feel Eastern will overcome that and pull away.

It's hard for anyone to beat Waterford at home but I have faith that Eastern can get it done tonight. Go Eagles!

I listened to the game and Eastern is just that much better. Their players were very motivated after the St. Joe's loss and it showed. It appears that Waterford was overwhelmed and even maybe intimidated by Eastern. Interesting how the tide shifts, huh, Jerry? That has to be the worst beating that Waterford has taken at home since joining the TVC. KARMA.........

Congrats to the Eastern Lady Eagles. Outright TVC Champs, in dominant fashion, no less!

I heard on the radio that it went from a 4-5 point lead after 1 qtr to the 20 pt lead at half, with Burdette being key with 14 points including two treys in the 2nd. I didn't think it would be pretty for Waterford as Eastern is just too good.

I can hardly fathom that Eastern gave up a 6 point lead in the final minute to lose their one game. They must have triple teamed Burdette to get it out of her hands, and I can't imagine even a triple team would steal it from her without fouling.

I was not there but Mychelle Johnson of HSJ is the quickest player I've seen in a while and she keys on defense....I bet she was all over Burdette.

So not winning a conference title for the 1st time in (at least) 6 years is karma? Or is it just that every great run has to eventually end?

It's the first time in 12 years. And you can look for the cats to be back on top next year

I believe the point Steely is making is the "Karma" being a resounding beating suffered by a coach who loves to give those out on a regular basis. Not even Farmer Yoder and his gang could hold off the Eagles at Waterford this time.
