4 of these teams make it to the district----The 4 and 5 seed game should be a good one. Whoever they are.

I know one thing .. Belpre (13-2) is tickled to death to be moved up to DIII where they can now escape the wrath of Eastern and Waterford ... lol

Yeah....I'm not sure that the D4 sectional over that way doesn't have 3 teams that are better than any D3 team in this sectional.

I see NY as the #1 seed, Alexander #2, Belpre #3, Westfall #4
Belpre has the most wins but play a very soft schedule

I'm not so sure that D4 sectional doesn't have 3 teams better than an D2 team in the sectionals either.

Yeah...maybe so. Odd considering just 3 years ago the #6 seed in that sectional was 14-6 or 15-5

Do not overlook Crooksville in that Sectional, they play in a brutal league, they often welcome tournament time. Outside of Eastern who else you throwing in that DIV sectional? Waterford is good, not sure I'd place them better than a MT, Jackson, Athens or a Vinton.

Miami Trace and Jackson aren't in the sectional on that side.
Waterford has all of their losses to some of the best teams mentioned on this site. Eastern Meigs, Clinton Massie, Fort Frye x2 both by right at 10 points....worst loss was game 1 to Marietta
But they also just beat Warren at Warren....not real sure Vinton County would be doing that
I included South Webster being as good or better than the D3 teams in this sectional

Sorry I never saw what sectional, just DII. Outside of Eastern it would all be about matchups, Webster and Waterford lack the physical post presence and the overall physical style of play hat comes with bigger divisions. Sheridan has a horse inside, as does Jackson, MT, Vinton, all would be hard to handle for most DIV teams. Though DI, Marietta has an overall physical presence and good overall height.

Yeah....I'm with you, my original post of this was just talking about these D3 teams. D2 is a different animal in girls, but I do believe Waterford is the 2nd best D4 team in the district and think they would beat VC more times than they wouldn't.
As for the post presence....I prefer excellent guard play come tourney time....or really just in general

Alexander 11-5
Belpre 13-2
Crooksville 8-5
Federal Hocking 3-13
Meigs 4-12
Nelsonville-York 12-4
River Valley 6-9
Southeastern Ross 7-9
Wellston 6-10
Westfall 11-7
This one is tough as I have only seen 2 of those teams. (Wellston, Alexander)
1. Nelsonville york
2. Belpre (are they really that good???)
3. Crooksville (brutal league or at least it use to be!)
4. Alexander
5. Westfall
6. Wellston
7. Southeastern
8. River Valley
9. Meigs
10. Fed Hocking

I think Westfall is one of the top 4 teams in this.

I see Alexander at 2 after their big win against vinton, belpre at 3 with no quality wins, Westfall 4 crooksville 5 and the rest of the sectional the way you have it.

Thanks for answering. Wondering if injury, sickness or whatever.

I watched Oak Hill play Athens on Monday, and then Nelsonville-York take on the Lady Bulldogs on Thursday ... I personally think the Lady Buckeyes were a little better than Oak Hill - I'm not sure how they wouldn't be the No. 1 in this sectional.
