I have nothing against Brian at all, I know the man, like the man, and consider him to be a friend. My post was sarcastic, not mean. I am typically a forum reader and hardley ever post, when I do I try to be positive, in the eyes of some of you I wasn't last night. Here is my point, in my opinion (and that is all it is) Coach Brian would have appeared to question most of the decisions made by the Waverly coaching staff last year, I felt as though many of his post were critical and probably better discussed with the Head Coach and not on this Forum. Well... now those decisions are going to rest at the feet of Coach Brian and only one of two things are going to happen; he and the kids will be successful, they will "cook", or they will be unsuccessful "get cooked." I have no doubts that Brian will do well in Waverly, he has a great love for the sport and a tremendous work ethic, but with the amount of "arm chair" coaching he did last year on this forum, I still contend that it will be interesting to see how he transitions from having opinions on this forum to making decisions in high school games in the fall. I sincerely wish Brian and the Tigers good luck in 2009!

seops will certainly miss the negative posts that brian was well known for about waverly soccer. wish him well but remember to always be careful about what you wish for.

It will be a one year disaster and then they will be looking for another coach.

What's the Tigers been up to?

They have had open fields 3 days a week all summer. First official practice is August 10.

So they have Roseberry, Williamson, and Remo running the show. This is going to be entertaining.

I believe Remo is coaching the Junior High.

Obviously hbk123 has something against this coaching staff. Why not wait and see what happens ---then eat some crow or strut your stuff.

Prediction: Burg 5-1 over waverly first game
Burg 3 - 0 over waverly second game
New coach but far less qualified than the one they lost.
