Athens travels up to Dublin Scioto to take on the undefeated Irish. Should be an extremely tough game for Athens, but no matter what, a great experience for the Bulldogs to get to go against a great Columbus program.

Dublin Scioto 4- Athens 0
Tough game for Athens. They were only down 1-0 at halftime, but the Irish overwhelmed Athens in the second half.
Athens should be proud of their effort. Even though the result ended up being put out of doubt, Athens fought hard to keep in the game, especially in the first half. The Bulldogs even created a few opportunities to put the Scioto keeper under pressure, including a couple of mini-breaks.
Athens faced a great DI program who is having a fantastic undefeated season. It was good for them to see another brand of soccer and to have something to shoot for in the future.
