Clay over ND in 4 . i didn't get to see the 1st matchup but the big difference i saw tonight was Clay serves to score , ND serves just to get it in. huge difference in the way the teams serve.

South Webster defeated West tonight to claim their stake of the SOC

South Webster finishes the regular season 18-4 overall and 13-1 in the SOC2

Waverly wins over Valley.

Waverly stills has a couple of games this Saturday. The JV team ends their regular season undefeated.

Minford closed out the regular season on a strong note by defeating visiting Oak Hill in three straight sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-23), the Lady Falcons first of the season to improve to 7-16, 3-11.
Next up for Minford Division III Sectional tourney at Minford Tuesday 10-18 at 6 pm vs. Portsmouth.

Only 1 SOC team in action on Wednesday night

#2 seeded Waverly hosts #7 seeded Marietta 6:00 at Waverly High School.

Kinda interesting that the 3 seed Unioto and the 4 seed Athens both have easier first round matches than the 2 seed Waverly................ makes you wonder sometimes................

This should be the best first round matchup in the entire district! Might have to make the trip up from Webster to see the battle of the tigers!

Anyone with the Northwest/Paint Valley score.
Couldn't find it on WKKJ either and they usually have SVC scores quick.

According to the OHSAA website the Northwest vs Minford Sectional Final will be played at Northwest High School on Saturday at 4:00

All 8 Division 3 Sectional Finals that day are to be played at 4:00 at the higher seeded school.

Valley, Burg, Northwest and Minford will all be in action at the same time.
