Probably because for the last few years Waverly didn't play in it, so why would Eastern want to play Western a third time and then play Piketon? Why would Western want to play Eastern again. It was boring for the last few years...IMO

Eastern wins district semi-final over fairfield 25-2 25-7 25-3. Congrats will play Saturday at Wellston for district final.

FYI: The Eastern volleyball team has won a sectional title every year since 1986....found that in the Eastern Basketball Program from last year!!!

on the banners in the gym they didnt win in 1990, but have won sectionals every year since then. but you may be correct. still impressive.

Eastern won the District Championship over Eastern Reedsville in 3 sets. The girls played great! They will play Lancaster Fisher Catholic on Wednesday, November 4 @ 7:30. The game before will be between Tuscarawas Central Catholic and the winner of Waterford/South Webster. Good luck ladies!

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles! They defeated Lancaster Fisher Catholic in 4 sets to move on to the Regional Finals!!! They will play Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 2 pm at Lancaster HS. Come support the Eagles! And it would be nice to see the county, not just the school, come support them!

The season for the Eagles is over. But they went out with a huge band. They lost in the Regional Finals "Elite 8" to Tuscarawas Central Catholic in 5 sets. Scores were 25-23, 24-26, 23-25, 25-21, 15-17. Obviously the Lady Eagles fought in every last set. They have a lot to be proud of!

These girls are are great girls!!!!!!!! Even though they lost the hardest game to lose, they still are winners. These girls were praising God at the restaurant after the game to complete strangers and were still praising God at church Sunday. Even though these girls really wanted to win, they know that serving the Lord is much more important. So proud to be an Eagle fan.
