The Eagles went 3-0 in their first week of action, defeating South Webster at home in 3, Western at home in 3, and Notre Dame away in a VERY tough environment in 3. A very impressive team looking to continue the tradition of the school and maybe make the school's first state appearance in volleyball.

This team is 5-0. The Unioto tournament is on their schedule for Saturday. They should see some good volleyball. I wish them good luck for the tournament.

Eastern has a very good volleyball squad this year. What they don't have is someone in the administration with balls enough to discipline the small group of PUNKS dressed like Gangstas that talked and laughed and refused to remove their hats during the playing of the National Anthem before the varsity contest with Clay. They should have been removed from the gym and suspended from school for at LEAST three days. It was totally disrepectful to those of us who have served, to the flag, and most of all to Eastern High School. I know times are a-changin' but they haven't changed that much.

I doubt the administrator saw this happen or he would've said something to them. He would have not been please with their action. I do know there was a soccer match also going on and the administration was back and forth watching both as did many people. Don't judge the administration for something they did not see.

The Lady Eagles are now 5-0, with victories in Week 1 over South Webster, Western and Notre Dame. In Week 2 the Eagles defeated New Boston and Clay. All matches have lasted 3 sets. The Eagles travel to Unioto on Saturday September 11 to take part in the annual tournament. This is where the Eagles will face some of their toughest opponents.

The Eagles suffered their first loss of the season at the Unioto Tournament. They defeated Dayton-Carroll in 2, lost to Wheelersburg in 3, and defeated Unioto in 2. From what I heard, the Wheelersburg game had an official that made calls that never happened to give Wheelersburg the win. But good job girls! Keep it up! 7-1 isn't bad.

The Eagles are 9-1 now and playing very well. Looks like they will have a busy week next week. Good luck.

Congrats to the Ladies for their victories over Piketon and Peebles tonight! The Eagles improved to 11-1 and are now ranked 11th in Division IV!

The Eagles picked up wins over conference opponents over Green and Western this week, then took 1st place in the Eastern Quad defeating Paint Valley and Valley! 15-1

2 more wins this week for the Lady Eagles, improving to 17-1 with victories over conference opponents Notre Dame and New Boston.

Tonights' game was very well-executed! I saw a lot of great hitting, aggressive serving and superior passing by this group of players! They are 18-1 and should roll on through the rest of their schedule. Good luck in tournaments Lady Eagles!!! Keep that Eagle tournament tradition going!!!

Looks like the Eagles are going to well in tournaments again. Being 19-1 they should get seed one in their sectional. Good luck EAgles!

Congrats to the Lady Eagles for capturing the #1 seed in tournaments! The Eagles will face the winner of #8 Symmes Valley vs. #9 Miller. The sectional final game will be played at Eastern starting @ 6.

Looks like the Eagles will be playing Symmes Valley on Thursday at 6pm at Eastern. (SV won tonight against Miller).

FYI: The Eastern volleyball team has won a sectional title every year since 1986....found that in the Eastern Basketball Program from last year!!!

Wow. What an accomplishment. Congrats to the Eagles volleyball program. I was wondering, why is there no Pike Co. Quad anymore. Always looked forward to the Pike Co. teams going at it. Some exciting games in the past.
