Heard that Washington CH beat Wheelersburg in the finals. Also heard that there were some officiating problems in the Wheelersburg/Eastern Pike game. They said the referee gave the game to Burg in the 3rd set. Anybody hear about that?

I watched the game between Wheelersburg and Eastern and thought the officials did a great job. Two very good teams.

Tough back and forth game in the Eastern/Wheelersburg match. It went three sets. The officiating was fine. The play of the girls decided the match.

Eastern's pretty tall. I liked the way the foriegn exchange girl played (someone said she was from Serbia?) but they have a good program and a lot of athletes in all positions. The Day and the Rowe girls had good games.

Washington Court won the final in two sets though both had close scores as Wheelersburg started picking up steam toward the end. Eastern struggled a bit in their last match--especially the first set after such a tough game but settled down and won.
