The Jackson Volleyball program will be hosting a 15 team Varsity summer league again this summer. All games will be played in the JHS Gym and Field House. League nights will be Thursday June 6th, Thursday June 13th, Thursday June 20th, and Thursday June 27. Time 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. Cost is $100.

Currently 12 teams have committed for the Summer League.

confirmed teams: Beaver Eastern, Coal Grove, Gallipolis, Ironton, Jackson x 2, Nelsonville York, Oak Hill, Point Pleasant, Trimble, Vinton, Wellston, Southeastern, White Oak and Southern.

League is now full.

Quite the variety of teams. Some D2's, 3's and 4's...mixed in with an out of state team.

Eastern Pike should contend for a state appearance and Nelsonville should be very good. It'll be interesting to see all the teams. Kids are always gone in the summer but this league in the past has told us a lot about what kind of season they will have.

Only there part of the time...but looked to go very well. Many teams missing a few players that will definitely contribute.

Eastern Pike is very good again.

Who returns for Eastern Pike? I know they had a nice sized middle that was, (i think) a sophomore or junior last year-nice skills, hit well out of the middle.

I think Eastern Pike returned their entire rotation of players....and look to be working the 6'2 girl into the middle.

Well, the summer league games are now over. Anybody attend the summer league matches? How did everyone look?
