3 Horse Race in the TVC Ohio

All knotted up with a loss apiece - The Bulldogs, Buckeyes, and Spartans are a 3 horse race for the TVC Ohio. Alex beats NY, NY beats Athens, and Athens goes on the road tonight and beats Alex. Exciting stuff.

Athens plays Vinton County, Nelsonville-York and Alexander at home the second half. Trips to Meigs and Wellston. Should go right down to the wire.

The buckeyes didn't look like they belonged in the race last night. It sure wasn't the match-up that everyone expected. Congrats to the lady spartans on an impressive win. They definitely looked like the hungrier team.

Alexander has the number of the Buckeyes this year. Nelsonville-York was the hands down favorite. A lot of interesting scenarios yet to play out with the Buckeyes and Spartans both still having to travel to Athens. Looks like the league championship will be up for grabs when Alexander travels to Athens for the last league game - I think really no matter what happens. Unless by some miracle Alex loses to one of the others or Athens loses to one of the others ( not including Nelsonville York) Going to be exciting.

Nelsonville-York visits Athens tomorrow. Going to be a dandy. Athens wins, NY is basically eliminated from the league race, NY wins, it is still a 3 horse race. Go Bulldogs.

Buckeyes in 5. Dogs take first 2 and Buckeyes the next 3. A great match. Nice crowd. If the Dogs take care of business it is going to be a 3 way tie. I can see it happening. Alex sweeps NY, NY sweeps Athens, and possibly Athens sweeps NY. Breeze was a beast. Congrats Buckeyes.

Athens beats Wellston in 3 games. Sets up big game with Alex on Thursday. Go Bulldogs! Sure nice to have the Buckeyes rooting for us!

Im sorry but i find it shocking the lack of talk alexander gets anymore.. This year is a pretty decent team yet not much talk of them? This has been a strong program for years now

The Lady Spartans have a chance to make it a one horse race tonight. It should be a great atmosphere. Hopefully both teams bring their A game and the fans get the show they've been waiting for.

DD is there, texted to say Alex is up 2-1. All three sets close. Alex won the first two.
DD says Alex won set 4 26-24. Wish I'd seen that one.

Congratulations Alexander. You were definitely deserving of your league championship. Your coach and players have done a great job improving from the first time I saw you this season.
Congrats to the young Bulldogs on making a great run. Tourney time next, good luck to all.
