you cannot give much "cred" to district nominations. way to political. some of the selections really leave "?". for those who made it great, but stats cannot play much of a roll or "some" may have not made the cut. i could not believe a couple of the 1st team nods, and some that were left off the list.

Both games were 9 inning games. Long and hot day at the park.

Don't have many details on game #1 but the orange squad (north I think) won the D2/D4 matchup. Maybe someone can give more updates on this one.

The second game D1/D3 matchup was a good one and was won by the south squad 10-3. Alot of solid hit balls in this one by both teams. Solid pitching from the best in SE ohio as well. South squad piled up 15 hits and north 8 (I think). Game was tied 3-3 in the 7th or 8th when the south blew the game open scoring 7. Game #2 player of the game was junior Aaron Hopper of Wheelersburg. 3-3, 2B, 2 RBIs, 1 R.

Coaches can nominate as many players as they want.
Stats are put up on the board - coaches talk about their kids.
Coaches vote.
That simple.
