Look for Adam Bricker, and Taylor Bailey, to step up. Both are excellent pitchers, and fielders. Young, but talented. West needs more kids to stick with baseball.
You can be successful at more than one sport. It seems like that football is the only
sport played at West above the 8th grade.

graduated from webster in 2001...played 4 years, was a contender for the soc every year i played

What position did you play? You played for Coach Wright? They had some decent teams back then but I don't think they were ever in contention for the league were they? Wheelersburg had Newman those years.

yeah, i played for coach wright. i played outfield my FR and SO year then moved to 3rd my Jr year, then split time between 3rd and 1st my Sr. year. we were close to winning the SOC a couple times but usualy were 2-3 games back at the end of the year. it was always between south webster, wheelersburg and minford. we were always top 3 in the league

Need to watch watch what you say. I know West is bad for it. I played for the golf team and not once did any of our team members butt heads! And there is no need to come on here and bash each other about beating each other. Leave that is your past, the glory days. Let these kids do what they do and have fun! No need to come on here and talk crap to each other and say stuff bout each others schools.

this group of jr. & srs. went undefeated in 7th & 8th grade baseball...
they are very talented & with the senior leadership doing their job, this team will do good things ! the catcher will be ethan morgan.... rapp will make his pitchers keep 'the ball down i'm sure.. infield should be solid !! let's go boy's...

i can handle that. its just one of those sour tastes that gets left in your mouth. to this day when i see a black W on a shirt i just wanna.......well, i aint gonna go there
