Marietta wins in the eighth inning. Their ace goes all 8. Looks like Waverly's #2 against Marietta's # 2 on Wednesday. Fairfield looked like a pony league team but surprised everyone playing good defense and pushing Marietta. Fairfield left a runner at third the 5th and 6th innings. Marietta scored two in the top of the 1st and it looked like the rout was on. That was it until the eighth when they plated three runs.
