Hillsboro is usually pretty strong. Surprised that they scored 4. The word I got was that each team scored a couple of unearned runs before the 7th. So it may have been first game jitters too. Opening game I would not say this is surprising? I read a write up in the Highland County Press and Hillsboro is expecting to be the hunt for the FAC Title. I have seen a couple people giving Unioto alot of hype. The Gazette called the SVC as being very balanced this year and did not say Unioto was above and beyond everybody else. It was Logan’s first win over Athens since 2007 when both teams were competing in the Southeastern Ohio Athletic League. The Bulldogs had won 15 in a row against the Chieftains.
