With their top 3 starters back(Packard, Tate and Logue) they should be able to show some consistancy on the mound, which should tranlate in to wins

Yea belpre will have great pitching. Along with that they have they have a lot of skill at the plate.From what ive heard belpre's leading hitter last year was Tyler Watkins. He lead the team in average(.380) and in RBI's(22) as a Freshman. Look for them to have a great season

i think tate logue and packard and azar will be the best for this eagle team..... watkins will be a good hitter for this belpre team

Watkins was 1st team all district last season.

Packard and Watkins were named to the all- district team(Watkins 1st team)
(Packard 2nd Team) they should be pretty solid. With Tate,Watkins,Packard,Logue. Should be a pretty good mix of power and speed in the lineup. Belpre would be even better if Miller would step in and pitch.

There should be some depth on the team with the returning upperclass man so if someone gets hurt or for disipline I don't think the team will suffer very much anyways

Who all do you think will make out Belpre's roster? From Seniors to Freshman? What do each one of them bring to the team? Will there be a JV, will they cut, or will there be just right amount of numbers?
I think this group of Freshman and Sophmore went to Kent State and played in a tournament and dominated teams like Cleveland, Akron, and others. I remember hearing they got a little cocky and then lost to the team from Toledo or something.

Yes they did 10 runned every team then they saw the best pitcher around threw low 80s and they got ten runned but there was some distractions because of parents fighting but that wasn't the whole reason
they will have a JV
I think Corey law will make the team his is a very good feilder and fast but does need some work hitting
and jesse whittington should he had a 700 ave. last year but needs some work feilding
but they won't start

Wasn't he in pony league. A decent ball player should bat .700 in pony league. Varsity baseball is totally different than pony.

yeah he was but i'm jusy saying he has enough talent to carry over i'm not saying he's going be a star

I agree there are and outfield is a very important position in high school.

I also agree but i dont look for belpres outfield to change as they return all starters that played outfield last year.

Actually Belpre lost Mike Waderker. He was the eagles centerfielder last year

I don't know if Erik Waderker will play this year. He seems not very interested. I think his thing is more football and definatly basketball. I hope I am wrong but just by talking to him he just doesn't seem to much into it. Again, I hope I am wrong. He really is a good kid and a very funny character. I always enjoy him when he is around make me laugh. Hope you stick with it Erik.

He is a good pitcher. I cant wait to see him pitch against varsity batters.

Season is getting closer. I think the Eagles will be a very good tem this year
