Jackson always has a nice team,a lot of youngsters will play early in the season but i look for Jackson to finish in the top 3 of SEOAL.I doubt they repeat but I give them an outside shot at doing so.

The new dimensions are taking shape at Jackson baseball field the fence has been moved in all the way around and a 20ft wall (red monster) in left has been built. New sod outfield and infield and now it is level

Going to be a neat place to play
I believe the new dimensions are:
Left........ 300ft with a 20ft wall
Left/center... 345
center.... 365
right center... 345
right.... 300
March 14 there will be a dinner/auction after the alumni tourney good food and a very good auction with lots of stuff from area business and some sport collectables.

The Ironmen have a good thing going right now. The kids have bought into coach Rolstons philosophies and are working their tails off. The community has also got behind him with the new facility and are showing the support that it takes to keep a good coach there. Best of luck to the Ironmen in their quest to repeat.

Yes, they will be building a new home dugout, can't do the visitor side to close to the road to build a better one. Plus in the process to get a indoor hitting facility to go along left field, that houses a pitchers mound & home plate and two indoor cages. Rolston and his staff our really building a nice facility and program in jackson this is going to be good stuff for quite along time!!

Jackson takes their baseball serious and it shows. Numerous winning seasons and trips to the district tournament. The program was already built by Steve Little and then Jason Wright. Rolston is doing a great job of making the program his own and adding to the already rich tradition. Good luck to the Ironmen. It doesn't hurt either when a company donates their time and money to help with upgrades.

it looks like the varsity pitiching may be a little weak, but they still have time to improve on that. other than that it should be a great season.

Pitching wins games in high school will need some younger kids to step up defense should be solid though. Will be a young team might struggle at first untill some of these guys get some experience.
