Latest news is that Oak Hill has cancelled game at home field due to rain. Sun has been out for most of the day. I'm suprised someone could not get the field ready for play today.

Unofficial but the game may be moved to W'Burg.

Not close. Final was 25-0 I think. Probably 25+ hits and 6 HRs hit by the Pirates. Montavan (2), White (2), Luster, Thomas GS.

BG77 they have not lost a step, they just reloaded. I think the main question mark coming into this year was the pitching and so far, it has been fine. Burg must continue to get that pitching. Look for the Pirates and Waverly to fight it out for the SOC crown.

I agree neighbor. Pitching was my main concern for this team coming into the season, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Of course they are only two games into the season. I knew Elliot would be a solid starter for them and getting good solid efforts out of Montavon, Boyer, Luster, and a few others will be a big plus. Obviously hitting isn't going to be much of a problem as these kids have proven since their JV days that they can knock the snot out of the ball.
