Farmer is the cream of the crop in this area. Nobody else is close to his ability on the mound.

Unioto has three of the best around...Arledge, Woods and Tisdale. The SVC will be forced to deal with them EVERY NIGHT! M-W-F!

Farmer is good,no doubt. Thackston from Fairland is good too! Two of the best I have seen. Farmer can bring the heat, Thackston being a lefty has speed and some junk too. I watched him throw no hitter against Adena last year and he was untouchable. I seen farmer pitch and he can definately play at next level.

i'm not knocking the kid at all. i've only heard good things about him. i thought yates was svc player of year last year and he wasn't first team all state so i was seriously wondering if farmer made the first team list?

I believe the title is best pitcherS in the area, so I stand by my statement concerning the U's 3 studs. Agreed Farmer is the best...he just cant pitch every night!

And I have to believe that the SVS coaches have a tendency to vote the POY from league champs...Kinda like COY always being from team that wins it all...

Yes he was. He was All-Ohio as a pitcher. Yates was All-Ohio as an infielder. Pretty good to have them both first team All-Ohio in the same league.

farmer is not only an all ohio selection, he was also named to multiple all american teams as a picther and utility player.
