That would put him right with LA Dodger and Defiance grad Chad Billingsley and he should pass him and Jackson Center's Kevin Mann in his next outing. And amazingly, he's still 150ish behind the SVC record of 649 by Westfalls Gene Carfry. Zach is currently 4th in state history.

Zach currently sets at 513 career strikeouts making him #2 on all time list. The number one record is amazing feat also has single seaon with 197 Ks. However back then there was no pitching limit and you played more games.
