Does anyone know who burg and waverly opens their season too? I know west has green.

Waverly opens up their season with a home double header against Chesapeake starting @ 1 on March 24

West returns some goood starters. Burg will contend but can Waverly and West win. Will the Wheelersburg scheduling rule impact them more. Just glad it’s Spring time.

Burg opens up on 3/24 at 6:15PM playing against Jonathan Alder at the VA Paints Invitational in Chillicothe.

Alder was #1 in Division 2 a big part of last year but finished the year #15th in the state.

This is a good opening test for Burg's 2018 season.

According to Maxpreps (which isn't always correct), it shows Valley opens up on 3/24 @ Ironton starting at 10 am

gotcha thanks. i wonder how valley will be this year? i know they have cunningham, williams, jones, and marrow i believe.

I don't think Valley lost anything. As far as I remember, they have all of their pitching and infield back. Last year's sophomores were their best hitters. I know that they also have one of Coach Schuler's grandsons from Columbus who now attends Valley, I think he's a sophomore. The freshmen won the county jr high tournament last year too. I would think the Indians could be pretty competitive.

I stopped at the field for a few hours yesterday and Valley was in control most of the day. I think they won both games comfortably. Whiteoak struggled defensively, and Valley looked pretty solid most of the day. It turned out to be a very pleasant day at the park, the weather wasn't bad at all for March 10th.

Waverly scrimmages Circleville tomorrow 3/15 at 4:30 @ the VA. Should be a good game.
