Waverly 4
West 3
Waverly's fans were stealing signals the whole game. The ump was aware of it and did nothing.

Congrats to Tori Harr who was super in the circle today and to Miranda Pauley for homering against a very high level D-1 recruit . and to buckeye24 stealing signs is perfectly legal and part of the game , the ump has zero to do with it .
Re: FRIDAY SCORES, SCHEDULE OR CANCELLATIONS
Fort Frye, and Tori Mimken both improved to 14-0 with a 3-1 win at Parkersburg South.

I have to tell ya that is the funniest thing....exactly how was simple fans able to crack the infinite source code of the coaches??? AND if they did how does that help batters bat and fielders field. Fastpitch is about executing certain plays when in position to do so. For example, If by chance the batter knows a fastball is coming she still must execute her swing, and if the defense knows a bunt is coming they must field it and execute the throw.
Fastpitch is not rocket science, 90% of all teams in the SOC know exactly how one another play in certain scenarios and defend to the knowledge they obtain from previously played games. It comes down to how the momentum swings during close games and what team wants the win vs the other and with teenage girls this is the code I would like to see broke..lol...Just think if the waverly fans could break the signs of that..the game of live would be so much easier..lmao.
West is a good team with great athletes, don't overthink this game as it was hard fought by both teams.
Congrats to Waverly ..

That might be true, but I can tell you I would be better able to hit a fastball if I knew a fastball was coming.bron99 wrote:Buckeye24 wrote:Waverly 4

Why I brought this up is because West's coach actually stopped the game and pointed this out to the home plate umpire. While it might not be illegal, it's cheap to have your fans do it. If your players and coaches are able to figure it out, all power to you. But you shouldn't have fans playing a part in the outcome of the game.
Re: FRIDAY SCORES, SCHEDULE OR CANCELLATIONS
Again I have to say that's a silly statement buckeye24...im not saying your silly and not taking a personal jab, but to say fans shouldn't take part in trying to help determine the outcome of a game is something Steinbrenner and every other owner, player, and coach would probably say that is one of the main reasons to play any game in any facet of sports.Buckeye24 wrote:That might be true, but I can tell you I would be better able to hit a fastball if I knew a fastball was coming.bron99 wrote:Buckeye24 wrote:Waverly 4

To say the coach stopped the game and pointed it out to the umpire and he dismissed it what he should have done.
to say fans shouldn't try and help their team sound pretty ridiculous.
Again this particular issue is simply a matter of perception ....Had west won this game you wouldn't have posted anything about this.
But I have to ask if west was playing waverly or any other school for that matter in football and somebody was able to interpret signals from the sideline and used that to give the advantage t their team you really think that's wrong??? Give me a break...its part of the game, has been, will be, no matter who wins or looses.
I know this concept may sound funny but we actually have divisions of the government who do this...its called CIA..lol
Good luck west hope your coach changes his signals as there are operatives hiding amongst us with daughters who play fastpitch in s.ohio...
