Scoreless after three, Alex scored 2 runs on 2 hits in the top of 4th with a single by Williams, safely reaching on a fielders choice by A. Swiney and single by Raines. Swiney scored later on a wild pitch.

In the bottom of 5th with the score still 2 - 0 Alex, Meigs loaded the bases on a single by Shellie Bailey, a walk from Chandra Stanley and reaching safely on fielders choice by Nicole Wise. With no outs Micki Barnes lined sharply up the middle to tie the game 2 - 2. With runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out, an errant throw by Williams allowed Nicole Wise to score. However .. batters interference was called on Hailey E. She was retired with Nicole W. returning to 3rd. The inning ended with a strike out.

In the top of 6th with runners Heather McClain and A Swiney on 2nd and 3rd with back to back singles and no outs, infield playing in. The ball was hit to shortstop Taylor Elliott who's throw was not handled by catcher Micki Barnes allowing the go ahead run to score. The next batter Brozak hit a grounder off the pitchers glove allowing another run to score, though Brozak was thrown out at first.[size=85][size=50[size=50]][/size][/size][/size]
