Alexander, Meigs & Welllston tied in TVC with 2 - 1 records within the conference. As far as I know, Belpre is 1 - 1; Athens 2 - 2; Nelsonville-York 1 - 3; Vinton County 0 - 3.

The Lady Marauders revised and updated schedule is as follows, Athens (home) at POMEROY FIELDS downtown at 5pm on 4/15. On the road at Wellston 4/16; (home) against Belpre Fri. 4/17 at 5pm (either Salisbury or Pomeroy)? The double-header at Marietta Sat. 4/18 with a start time of 11:30am.

Alexander has been scheduled for a make-up game with Belpre on Friday April 17th since they cancelled on April 6th. Sounds like someone might have something messed up. Guess we both might want to check that info out and see who is playing on Friday for sure. Alex was to be at Belpre.

Errors. Lots and lots of errors. They did not choose to get their pictures taken there, the Messenger had them stand there and get their picture taken. Regardless of the outcome of last nights game, they can always say they beat Athens in their debut game into the TVC. As everyone knows, NY is not real strong in softball, but they are trying to change that. It may take a while, but they will get there, and they will be competitive.

Belpre 4 Alexander 2, good pitching game tonight for both teams. Belpre committed several errors, and still pulled off a victory tonight against a good team....Great TVC win for Belpre, especially since this was only there 5th game of the season tonight. Weather, (and some questionable decision making on cancelling games) has not permitted the team to get very many games in. Good luck tomorrow Eagles in your DH against Eastern!

Do you happen to know the baseball game score or was only a softball game played yesterday?

Belpre had two quality wins this weekend, one over Alexander on Friday (4-2) and Eastern Saturday (3-2) and lost the second game of the DH with Eastern 0-1 in the bottom on the 7th on a wild throw with 1 out and a runner on second. Heard a lot about Eastern going into the game Saturday, and wasn't sure what to expect since Belpre only has 10 players on their roster and had only played 5 games going into the DH on Sat. Belpre has some really good quality players, (young too, 2 freshman Natalie Perry and Brittany McNabb, and 2 sophmores, Regina Leftwich and Taylor Mason) who contribute a great deal to the team. Brandi Fitch is their only junior and is a returning all TVC catcher. Good pitching obviously from the scores, 3-2 and 0-1. Mason and Turley both sent one long in the first game. Belpre should be a contender the rest of the season in the TVC Ohio. Good Luck to both teams. Belpre at home on Monday, weather permitting, against Nelsonville York.

I think these are the updated standings.....let me know if I messed something up. At least everything matched up 16 wins, 16 losses, which is what it should be at this point.

Meigs 4-1
Belpre 2-1
Wellston 2-1
Alexander 4-2
Athens 3-3
Nelsonville-York 1-4
Vinton County 0-4
