Sadly I see a bunch of pitchers still not wearing a mask. I'm not in the opinion of making it legally mandated but I would encourage the use of the face mask. Only takes 1 pitch , 1 hit to change a pitchers life. hopefully the readers would agree that with the move to 43 and the lack of quality pitching ( lots of girls throwing just because no one else can) that more balls are being hit harder. hitters are swinging hot bats and a larger percentage of girls are hitting year round these days. So parents --get the kid used to that mask .
