this is my first year back since the rubber was moved from 40 to 43---what effect has that had on Homers? I haven't seen one in my scrimmages or games yet---I helped coach an Athens team a couple of years ago that bashed taters with regularity (Raven Cline was 3rd or 4th all time in career homers) and we had 2 other girls who had multiple homer games beside her. I think that moving the rubber back would produce more but is anyone seeing any evidence of that?

ND has had 3 different players homer so far. freshman Pierron , juniors's Marting (2) and Pauley. We should eventually have 2-5 players more get dingers if they start swinging the stick like they can.
as far as the 40 vs 43 I def think more balls are being put in play which is a good thing IMO.

Valley has 3 with homeruns... Freshman Ashley Webb has 2, junior Kaylin Corns has 1 and Junior Brooke Cooper has 3 (should have at least 2 more players with HR before the season is over in Dillow and Koch)

Coach Phillips told me Friday when Hannah Ray hit hers that it was her third one for the season. That is see a ball awfully well for a freshman. GOOD JOB HANNAH!!!
