Re: Burg @ Webster
Webster is going to play a zone probably the whole game. I look for this to be a low scoring game just like the last one unless some one from burg decides they are going to help Andy out and score some points.
Re: Burg @ Webster
Any thoughts on if LANG will play this week? He would be a really big help toward both the offense and defence of that Pirate squad.

I have heard he's supposed to be back sometime real soon but I don't know a date of when.

I hope and think he will start playing again in the South Webster game. This team really needs another scorer other than Andy. Andy can't do it all. Lang can and will be a big help for the Pirates on the tournament road.

yea he will help no doubt but i don't think he's going to be enough to take them very far. I see them at the most making it to the district semis getting beat by a very good North Adams team.
Re: Burg @ Webster
I agree with you on that BLUE. North Adams has a great team this year. But the Pirates have to worry about a big Rock Hill team.

that's true they will struggle with Rock Hill becuse of the 6'9" kid they have and all they do is run a 2-3 zone and the way wheelersburg has shot this year it could be ugly.

I don't think you can go off that,Oak Hill has won there last 3 games by an average of more than 40 points! Including wins over Valley,Minford, and of course Rock Hill. They also were up by almost thirty at the Burg until the Pirates finished with a 10-0 run to make it look respectable.Although I do think Burg will beat Rock Hill,I just don't think you can go off a teams performance against the Oaks right now.

If your going to go off that then Wheelersburg only put up 32 on Oak Hill and may not of been that many if it wasn't for the little 10-0 run at the end against the scrubs. Wheelersburg has stuggled against the zone all year. They will struggle tonight against it at Webster. The only way they won't have trouble with the zone is if someone other than Andy can consistently step up and knock down some shots. Now if a team plays man on Wheelersburg then they will win it going away. There's not to many teams that can play man on Wheelersburg. As good as Oak Hill is they can't even defend Wheelersburg in man because it is so hard to stop Andy and the speed of Wheelersburg's guards.

It wasn't against the scrubs. Wheelersburg 10-0 run was already 6-0 when Oak Hill made one substitution (Michael Evans) at 2:42 and he was the only one until the scrubs came with 39.2 seconds remaining. The 10-0 run was completed with 1:50 remaining in the game --with 3-4 Oak Hill starters still in the game and four of their top six players playing. Senior Micheal Evans was the ONLY 'scrub' for the last four points of that run.
The game was never in the 30's. It peaked briefly at 27 and finished at 17 different.

Man this was a good game...back and forth the whole game. The lead was never more than 4 I think until the final 2 minutes. Good win for 'Burg and a good confidence booster for Webster after a loss to West. They actually showed they could compete tonight. I look for Webster to make a decent tourney run. (Hey, has to be better than last year's right!
