bengals tj may be gone
bengals tj may be gone
They didnt tag tj ,That means he is 99% a free agent. Tj didnt come to spring training because ,he said he didnt make enough money. Bengals have to many holes to fill to put a lot of there money in one person.
Chad may be put on the block too. But will the bengals get some draft picks for these guys . Or just let them go.

Dont think T.O. could handle someone coming in that is better than he is.
If Cincy loses TJ and Chad...Does anyone think they would draft Crabtree in the 1st round?? Even though they need Offensive lineman desaparetly...

Re: bengals tj may be gone
I don't follow the Bengals but I do like TJ. He seems to be the counterbalance to Chad that kept the whole team from spinning out of control. IMO he will look for a disciplined system on a team with a chance of giving him what he (or any other Bengal) player has to crave; a chance to win big. Taking that into consideration, I could see where he would be a great fit with the Giants. They need a good receiver to replace Plaxico and TJ is perfect for that.

If there...they need to take crabtree anyway, an o-lineman will be there in later rounds also depends on if they trade Chad also

I love the Bengals but can you blame him. He can go make a lot of money somewhere else and have a shot at the playoffs.

As of late, looks like the Vikings are in the running. Why in the world would anyone in his position want to stay and play for a franchise run by the Brown family?????
While money is a key consideration, at some point, playing for a sound franchise, with the chance to win a championship, has to come into play.
Look at Pierce, Garnett, Allen, and now Marbury with the Celtics......The majority of these guys gave up "best offers" to play together, for a storied franchise.

Houshmandzadeh will sign with Seahawks
Free-agent wide receiver had considered Vikings, Bengals
updated 6:05 p.m. ET, Mon., March. 2, 2009
Free-agent wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh has decided to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, ESPN reported Monday.
In a relatively weak market for receivers, Houshmandzadeh is the prize at his position. His statistics fell last season, to 904 yards and four touchdowns receiving, but the year before Houshmandzadeh had career highs with 1,143 yards and 12 TDs.
Houshmandzadeh's deal is a five-year, $40 million contract, with $15 million guaranteed, ESPN reported.
When they say it's not about the money, it's about the money!
