Preview is next Friday night, most teams have already been scrimmaging. What does everyone think of the league this year?

Unioto will be looking to reload after the 4 year dominance of Arledge, Driggs, and Driggs. Lots of talent still @ The U. Lots of questions as well. Two ACL injuries to probable starters during the soccer season(hear they are both healing rather quickly). Talented group of freshmen impacted the volleyball team, will any of them do the same for the basketball team? Experienced group of seniors returning as well. New coaching staff is in place, different style of play?

Adena should be the top contender to knock the Shermans from the top spot this year. Grigsby and Smith are a tough duo for any team to handle. Will the state run by the volleyball team cause the basketball team to get off to a slow start?

Piketon returns one of the league's top players in Alex Southworth. Great all around player, but who will step up and help her this year?

Zane Trace lost a lot in Dailey, Sigman, and Wiget. Dunkle will be the leader this year and will be helped by the young/talented Carle.

Those should be the top 4 teams in the league in my opinion. Any potential surprises in the league this year?

Westfall will be very improved and I think will knock Zane Trace out of the top 4. Zane Trace only played 6 at most in key moments and 3 of those are gone. Coach Dunkle does a great job, and Carle/Dunkle are a nice combo, but it's going to be tough to win(at least early) for the Pioneers.

The Unioto/Adena games should be battles and will definitely be the can't miss games this season.

Here is the Skinny on the Fabulous Frenchtowne Females:
Two Torn ACL’s has the new coach digging a little deeper in the vast talent pool of Lady Sherman athletics.
I look for a break out type season from the sophomore Tori Cox.
The freshmen sisters Overly may find some floor time as well it just depends how quickly Mal & Ebay can recover. I have some quality sources telling me both are working hard in rehab and should be in uniform for the bulk of the season.

Piketon has a strong freshmen class coming in as well, who will be an asset to the Alex Southworth led club.

Adena will be strong and may just be the pre season favorite to win the league.

Westfall, South Eastern and Trace all will be capable off beating anybody in the league it just depends on how consistent they can play as to how each will finish in the league.
