Went and watch my Hawks play River sat. the Isaly boy is a handful to guard,i wouldn't want to play them towards the end of the year,was close at the half only up by two then pulled away in the second half, for a 53-37 win. I knew River used to be in the pvl. just thought I'd share this game with you guys from the pvl

Caldwell and Stuebenville Central was interesting Saturday. 35-32 at half time, a guard for SC had every bit of 20 at the half. He was hitting step back three's, it was impressive. Third quarter was ugly both ways. I think Caldwell missed a half dozen lay ups and scored like 3 points but SC wasn't much better. It was like an 8 point game and SC started stalling, Caldwell started gambling and fouling and it ended up around 20. My take is Caldwell looks like they could be pretty decent but they aren't very consistent. I think they'll be solid by mid season.

As was reported by Guru, Trail 56, UL 55.

UL went on 17-0 run after Trail scored the first three. End of first, UL 17-3. Trail kept cutting away. Doudna had game-winning tip in at the buzzer. Overall I think Trail played pretty well once they settled down. UL will live and die on the three this year. Not much size at all.
