You guys do realize that you're dogging high school kids, right? They're not professionals, and sometimes they're gonna get be. Number 1 teams lose sometimes. It's not like they wanted to just get to the district semis. This team played with a lot of heart this season and they had to play a lot bigger than what they are. It was an absolute blast watching them play this season. I can't wait until next year!

I did not attack anyone. I defended. I only made observations from the posts I have read from that certain poster. I did not insult anyone. I questioned tactics and called out for being hypocritical.

You commented on this thread for the sole purpose of making a negative comment about me. You pruposely seek me out. So I feel that the label fits the action. I did not say you were stupid or ignorant or anything to that extent, I only pointed out that you want to bully people around. You have made several classless posts that are in my opinion untrue. How many Duke grads or professionals do you know to make such statements? I have been to conference after conference with people who attended schools all over the country, and each school will have people that think their program is the best. That is life. I have never been to Duke, but I have been to Raleigh and the people were super nice.

There isn't one person "dogging" kids on this thread. I have questioned coaching. I am sure they played hard all year, I never said they did not. I only question the direction of the team, which is my given right to do so. I am not an excuses type of person, so do not give me it was a height problem. 1998 Chesapeake squad had one player over 6'2'' and it was their point guard. They went to the Regional Finals.

Do you mean Durham? There are a lot fo Duke grads who work in Raleigh, hence it is the capital (state government). If me being critical and questioning the direction of a program is trashing a coach, then I would really like to know what a good majority of the posters on this board are doing, and what you would label their action as? I have seen people question the coach of their team countless time on every forum, despite the fact that most are pretty successful. Are you going to comment to everyone of them?

My question to you is why do you care? You do not have a dog in the fight. Are you from Chesapeake? Did you go or play at Chesapeake. Do you have something invested in the program and the future success of the program?

I would venture to say that the answer to the question is no. So why do you care? For the sole prupose of seeking me out and disagreeing.

How many people do you think actually take their concerns to a head coach, and what makes you think that a single coach would care to listen? I would say that this coach and most coaches probably do not care what is being said on an internet chat forum.

I have not criticized a single player and only questioned the direction of the Chesapeake program and expressed my disappointment. I do not feel that acting as if life is all rainbows and sunshine makes anything better. You have had an enjoyable time criticizing other members and bantering on about how I am so way off base, while telling me to kiss your butt and making jokes about my user name.

You make good points. It probably had something to do with it. Alexander, to most of the coahes at the meeting, was not a number 1 because of the SOS argument. Ironton was my number 1 all the way, untill they started losing games down the stretch (and lost one of their better players). I am not arguing that point and it is one of the more valid arguments you have made. Chesapeake also played undefeated North Adams to a one point loss, so I still feel they should have went further then the district-semi finals. I respectfully agree/disagree.

I feel that if you are debating and questioning someone's theories and ideas then you should present yours in an academic fashion.

I was impressed with Peake this year. They didn't seem as talented as in years past but really hustled and seemed to win a lot of games!

What is Chesapeakes record over the last two years? I am sure they are somewhere around 35 wins with 2 district appearances and an OVC title? Yeah, I would probably be concerned about the direction of the program also.
