Definitely impressive. They've also had some success in the playoffs during their 6 consecutive playoff appearances (7 counting this year). During this 7 year span, the Royals have only lossed 1 regular season game (69-1 record) and have an overall record of 74-7, including 5-6 in the playoffs with two Regional Championship appearances. They also lost to two eventual state champions during the playoffs in the last 7 years.siderman wrote:Impressive no matter who you playmercerville monster wrote:Wynford has bounced between D5 and D6 the past few state counts. So I have a hard time picking against them. Just sayin'.
If I had to give an edge to a team based on playoff experience in that 1 vs 8 match-up, I'd give it to Wynford. They lost in the first round last year, but just two years ago, they were the Regional Runner-up in Region 21, losing by 7 to eventual D-6 State Champion Norwalk St Paul.
