Man that will be sweet, cant wait to see an aerial view when its all said and done, are they going to start immediatly on phase II when I is finished or will there be a delay??

not sure on phase two, I think they may be ahead of the deadline on the baseball side though, I was by there,and it looked like they could be ready to start on the fields, the press box is up,and some bleachers are already up...I sen the walkway, goes right up and over the mini levee out there

People, do not be surprised if Phase II does not happen. If Phase II was going to happen, why haven't they already started tearing down the property where Phase II is supposed to be located? I just have a gut feeling that Phase II will not happen…..UNLESS more money is donated or taxes are increased. Mark it down.

However, I do hope I am wrong.

I was thinking the baseball, tennis courts,and basketbal courts was on phase two, but was told tonight I was wrong,and all of these was a part of phase one....

I think they are supposed to start on the basketball courts in the next few days,and the tennis courts.


talked to one of the head guys on the construction crew a few weeks back,and he pointed out to me where the track and softball fields was to be built,and said the property still had to be purchased......

Biggdowgg, I hope you are right. To me though, if Phase II was 100% going to happen, the property would have already been purchased and land being prepared. My gut tells me this is not a good sign.

lets hope your gut is wrong ...LOL....it would be a shame if everything else diddnt get moved to the location of the new schools,after everything else is.....

biggdowgg - I hope my gut is wrong too. It may take an additional donation or tax increase to make it happen though.

However, I hope the school board has appropriately planned and budgeted the 10 million dollars so that Phase II is not just a vision but a reality. They owe(d) it to Ms. Clark / PHS students / Portsmouth community.
