The 8th annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis All-Star Basketball Classic will be Friday night, April 3, 2009 at Parkersburg South High School. The game pits high school seniors from Ohio and West Virginia in both girls and boys all-star basketball games. The girls game will start at 5:30 PM with the boys game following at approximately 7:30 PM.

The Ohio girls roster, coached by Waterford’s Jerry Close and Nelsonville-York’s Mark Truax, includes: Jessi Drayer, Waterford (PG, 5’-5”); Darci Leffingwell, Vincent Warren (F, 5’-5”); Emily Dunfee, Stewart Federal Hocking (G, 5’-4”); Kim Kline, Nelsonville-York (PG, 5’-7”); Jenna Reynolds, Logan (G, 5’-7”); Alyson Stalter, Marietta (F, 5’-7”); Jennifer Sheridan, Crown City South Galia (G, X-X); Meagan O’Neil, Hannibal River; (G, 5’-7”); Meagan Rinard, New Metamoras Frontier (C, 5’-11”); Mercedes Crockrel, Ironton (F, 5’-10”); Catie Wolfe, Pomeroy Meigs (PG, 5’-4”); Mallory Brooks, Vincent Warren (G, 5’-7”); and Brittany Brown, Waterford (F, 5’-8”).
